DuraLabel Programs and Services

DuraLabel customers and visitors who interface with our web applications, software products, customer service staff and other support services ("Services”) often provide various types of information. In an effort to provide our customers with an ever-improving toolbox of safety solutions, DuraLabel has implemented a software analytics tool to monitor and fix problems, improve user interface, and ensure that each customer’s needs are being met.

 

DL analytics is a tool that DuraLabel will use to, review user preference for various software modules, monitor supply needs, quickly provide solutions to hardware and software problems, to ascertain average usage times of a number of software programs, provide real-time feedback for sales and support, and allow DL to provide customized customer service. Continued use of this software establishes your consent and acceptance of the above terms.

Accessing and Updating your Personally Identifiable Information

DuraLabel will make commercially reasonable efforts to provide you reasonable access to any of your personally identifiable information we maintain within 30 days of your access request. We provide this access so you can review it, make corrections or request deletion of your data. If we cannot honor your request within the 30-day period, we will tell you when we will provide access. In the unlikely event that we cannot provide you access to this information, we will explain why we cannot do so.

 

Concern Resolution

We encourage you to use DuraLabel' Customer Service e-mail to report and resolve concerns or privacy complaints you may have regarding DuraLabel and its affiliates. From those inquiries we may collect your name, email, and location. We also request you provide a detailed description of your concern. Any additional personally identifiable information you provide will be used to investigate your complaint and to send you follow-up communications.

 

DL provides its services to businesses across the globe. To the extent that DL concentrates its business and service offerings on other businesses (not consumers) some or all of the below may not apply.

 

Depending upon where you live, you may have certain rights with respect to your information. For example, under local laws, including in the European Union, you may be able to ask us to:

  • Provide access to certain information we hold about you, in some cases in a portable format, if technically feasible.
  • Update or correct your information.
  • Delete certain information.
  • Restrict the use of your information.

We will respond within the time period prescribed by applicable law. Please note that many of the above rights are subject to exceptions and limitations.

 

Some DL Services can only be provided if we have your information, therefore deletion of your information may result in termination of such Services. 

 

We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity, including authenticating you through an email address and utilizing known contact information. Since data security and privacy are at the purpose for which these laws are written, we may require extensive documentation including account password, user ID, historical invoice data, corporate documentation, powers of attorney, and the like before granting access to your information.

Please include “My Rights” in the subject line and provide a clear explanation of which right you are exercising and your country of residence in the body of the email.

 

Your rights and our responses will vary based on your state or country of residency. Please note that you may be located in a jurisdiction where we are not obligated, or are unable, to fulfill a request. In such a case, your request may not be fulfilled.

“Do Not Sell My Personal Information” (California Residents only)

 

DL does not engage in individual consumer-based sales or marketing. Additionally, it does not “sell” data as that word is reasonably defined. California law broadly defines “sale” in a way that may include allowing third parties to receive certain information such as cookies, IP address and/or browsing behavior. California residents may opt out of the “sale” of their personal information.

 

Depending on what Services you use, we may share certain information (below) which may be considered a sale (as defined by California law):

Nevada Residents

 

DL does not engage in the following activity with regard to consumer customers, however, Nevada law requires us to post the following: certain Nevada consumers may opt out of the sale of “covered information” for monetary consideration to a person for that person to license or sell such information. “Covered information” includes first and last name, address, email address, phone number, Social Security Number, or an identifier that allows a specific person to be contacted either physically or online.

 

If you are a Nevada resident who has purchased goods or services from DL, you may submit a request to opt out of any potential future sales under Nevada law by emailing us at info@duralabel.com. Please use “Nevada Do Not Sell” in the subject line. Note we will take reasonable steps to verify your identity and the authenticity of the request. Once verified, we will maintain your request in the event our practices change.

Providing security for the personally identifiable information you submit via our Site is a priority for DuraLabel. We take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to; or unauthorized alteration, disclosure, or destruction; of your personally identifiable information.
